It's part of a larger region called Calabarzon, which covers much of the area to the east and southeast of Manila. Rizal covers the western foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains, a range which runs down the "spine" of eastern Luzon. an Exploration of just the foothold of the Sierra Madre Range, longest mountain range of the Philippines. The mountains are mostly inaccessible by vehicles. It can be hiked and biked, but for day trips the most is jut one or two summits. Most of the time, you can't just go from one summit to the other. You may choose to go down through rivers/valleys or through ridges. And many mountains are thick so you can't just make a new path. The locals are very friendly and would treat you for a meal. This video covers mainly Rodriguez Rizal, and a little on other towns of Rizal, which hosts part of the Sierra Madre range. The more popular landmarks featured are Mt. Lagyo, Mt Parawagan, Mt.
