Exploring the BOS 400 Wreck

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Here's a fascinating drone video of a rather unusual type of shipwreck in South Africa, compliments of award-winning contributor Luke Maximo Bell.  The BOS400 was a giant offshore derrick that was being towed from the Republic of Congo in mid-1994.  The derrick became separated from the tug which was towing it and ran aground off a point in the Western Cape province, not far from the city of Cape Town.  The wreck was never recovered; it still sits here, a rusting wreck, a quarter-century later.
