Exploring the Salton Sea

On 11/12/2016 we took a day trip to the Salton Sea. I really did not know anything about it before hand, but quickly discovered how awesome it was. Barron and deserted, only a fraction of what it use to be in size and popularity I found a great calmness about the place. After watching read up on the fascinating history on the rise and fall of this once popular lake that literally came about because of a water leak that could not be stopped for 2 years.
