Once a tuberculosis sanatorium, the abandoned "Sanatorium de Borgoumont" / "Sanatorium du Basil" in Belgium has stood empty for years, slowly being reclaimed by nature and time. This FPV flight takes you through the forgotten corridors and spaces of this remarkable historic building — before its story changes forever. The site is now planned for a major redevelopment. The historic sanatorium is set to be transformed into a large-scale **hotel and residential complex**, including around **86 hotel rooms, 38 residential units, restaurants, wellness facilities and other amenities**. Renovation and conversion work is expected to begin soon, with completion currently planned for **2028**. For Urbex and abandoned-place enthusiasts, this marks the end of an era.
