The video features epic shots (including dronelapse sequences) from across the city, one of the oldest and most historically important in China. Highlights include the city's impressive core downtown district and some of its many bridges.

The capital of China's Zhejiang province, Hangzhou is the southern terminus of the ancient Grand Canal, which runs from Beijing.

The islands of West Lake are accessible by boat.

Celebrated by poets and artists since the 9th century, the shores of this lake are dotted with temples, pavilions, gardens, and arched bridges.

South of the lake stands the reconstructed, five-story Leifeng Pagoda, originally built in 975 AD.
