More testing with the AKK Tech Q3 switchable VTX @ 800mw and my Eachine EV800D goggles. The VTX has a standard Aomway 5dbi rhcp antenna. Goggles have the same antenna on the B channel and an Aomway 14dbi panel antenna on the A channel. So far excellent, first test video was in dense trees and worked out great. Wanted to go for more distance this time, and some water :) Very windy here too, notice the ripples on the water, good amount of steady wind with some gusts. Also note that some of the time while I'm ground hugging, the quad is actually over the hill and drops out of my LOS, so handles that very well. Highly recommend it ! Flying at Galesville Reservoir, Southern Oregon. Radio is the FlySky i6X with micro A6B receiver on the quad via SBUS. Very basic, and very good !!
