What's going on everyone I hope you enjoyed this quick guide and explanation of frame rates. Remember I believe there is no perfect frame rate it is whatever is best for you and your project at that time. I used a 60 fps time line to try and show all of the different frame rates so it may not look perfect but it is very close to what it should and will look like. I shot everything with my Autel Evo drone focusing mostly on aerial footage. The same holds true for footage taken by a hand held cameras as well so this is your guide for drones, DSLR, mirrorless, or whatever you may have. 24fps is used to capture the realistic motion blur we see and is used in many cases to get cinematic footage. 30fps captures a good amount of motion blur as well but looks a little less realistic than 24. 60fps is the most smooth frame rate you can use capturing plenty of detail but not looking as realistic.
