Top contributor rickrayfilms managed to get "up close and personal" with Iceland's erupting Fagradalsfjall volcano, creating a memorable drone video of this geological phenomenon, which captured the world's attention when it began to spew lava in the Spring of 2021.  The volcano is located on the Reykjanes Peninsula, in the southwestern corner of this North Atlantic island, not far from Reykjavik.  Its eruption marked the beginning of what is expected to be a long period of volcanic activity in Reykjanes following centuries of dormancy.
