My longest flight to date. I didn't go out this particular morning to do a long range flight but I just went with the flow and ended up with this one batt flight. The flight is a little conservative on the way out, on the way back it's a little more exciting. It was a cold morning about 3 degrees Celsius (37 fahrenheit) so I was shivering pretty much the whole time. I never dress appropriately for the conditions. The flight was about 2.25 km (1.5 miles) at it's longest point, at that point I received a telemetry lost warning on my taranis and turned around. What shocked me about the flight when I saw the footage was the damage to the coast line. This part of Auckland has received a battering by some pretty strong storms in the last 12 months and the erosion is obvious.
