This video showcases two young Osprey checks fledging, or making first flight. The Opsreys represent an amazing conservation comeback story after near extinction. According to my friend, Alan Poole, during the last two weeks before making first flight, the young Ospreys will energetically exercise their wings and develop their muscles for first flights. At times the wing flapping hits a frenzy level, and then a strong gust will pull them upward and off for their first flight, as you will see at the 1:35 mark in this video!
