Flight therapy - RaceFlight Revolt V2 maiden test flight - Defaults

Maiden flight of the RaceFlight Revolt V2 on March 4, 2017
Default everything on the Flight Controller.
I just went through the wizards, set up my modes, and took it into flight. I am using the RaceFlight One configurator FW195.

I tested two basic configurations. One with the lipo on top and no HD camera; a race set-up. The other with the lipo on the bottom and the GoPro Session 5 on the top.

Conclusion... I really like how locked-in it was. I will play around with the settings a little to try to nail my 360 yaw spins a bit better, but everything else felt great. Recovery on the minor crashes was amazingly fast. The motors definitely sound different. For lack of better words, they sound grittier, not smooth. Maybe it is the extra communication with the ESCs... I have no idea, but the flight was great. And the motors didn't even get warm.
