Flying A Fireworks Show FPV!

With permission to fly during the show, I was very excited and nervous at the same time. I got to get a first hand experience with the pyrotechnics radio equipment too. I was concerned if he was using 2.4ghz or 5.8ghz to control the show but everything checked out and we both learned some stuff. ;) A completely new spot for me, and a great place to fly. Warming up with a couple packs while there was still some light left to help get my bearings and test video signal. I only have a Runcam Swift 2 in this build so night time flying is not the easiest. It was very hard to see when I turned away from the show. Only having my flashlight to shine in the sky as a beacon to know my position. There were a couple close calls only seeing the tree in front of me when the next firework lit up the sky. Luckily only crashed when trying to come in for a landing, right into the pines standing behind me. So much adrenaline was pumping, sweat running down my face in the goggles, bugs all over my neck, arms and legs. I had an absolute blast! It was a hot one for sure, sorry I am so sweaty lol. I missed out on this opportunity last year being grounded and waiting on parts. So glad it all came together this year. Don't forget to subscribe!
