Flying on Rocca Calascio, L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The fortress of Rocca Calascio is one of the most iconic sights in Italy. It's located in the Apennine Mountains in L'Aquila, the largest province of the Abruzzo Region. Built beginning in the 10th century, it overlooks the Navelli Plain. Much like the great Machu Picchu citadel in Peru, it was never tested in battle, having been badly damaged by an earthquake in 1461 and never restored. Now one of the top tourist attractions in east-central Italy, you can check it out from above in this fantastic 4k drone video.
