Flying over Somers (VIC, Australia)

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top contributor Mattcoq created this marvelous drone video of Somers, a seaside town in the southeastern Australian state of Victoria.  It's located on the eastern side of the Mornington Peninsula, a landform which forms the eastern side of Port Phillip Bay (at the head of which sits the state's principal city of Melbourne).  Somers opens up onto the adjacent Western Port Bay, whose protected waters make for some of the best sailing in Australia.   Somers is also home to a series of beaches, some of the most popular in Australia.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

First time in Australia, last December, brought my P4P+ with me but unfortunately, weather wasn't that good even though is was the "summer" other there ... Sun came out just when we were staying in a small beach house at Somers, so I took my drone out for some flights as much as I could until the weather deteriorated again ... Exactly like in my hometown, Brittany, you can have basically 4 seasons in one single day ;-) Enjoyed my stay there but will definitely have to fly back there, with better weather in order to get my aerial photos and videos ...
