FlyingBear Semifinal Race // GetPropsMan Invitational Race

After coming back from Dubai and DRL Level2, I was happy to receive an invite to race with local pilots at the GetPropsMan warehouse in Fremont. Thanks for the great event fellas! I wish I had to made it to finals, but this is drone racing! Consistency always pays dividends and losing focus equals crashing into flags. In this race, I was winning my semifinals heat by a safe margin. However, we forgot to assign a spotter and I had no idea how far behind the other pilots were. I kept going at a comfortable, but fast pace and was on the last lap, 4/4. Coming into the last couple turns, I began to think about how I needed to land after finishing and wasn't focusing on where I was actually flying. BIG MISTAKE.
