Fort Bourtange in The Netherlands.

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Here's a bird's eye view of an important fortress in the northern Netherlands, near the German border, compliments of contributor and pilot Wout.  Bourtange Fortress is near the city of Groningen, the largest city in the northern Dutch province of the same name. It was completed in the late 16th century, during the course of the long fight for Dutch independence from Spain called the Eighty Years' War.  The star-shaped fort was situated here to cover a road between Groningen and northwestern Germany.
