Fort De La Chartreuse, Liège, Belgium - 2018 | DJI Mavic Air

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Contributor bartreding took this fascinating drone vide of Belgium's Fort de la Chartreuse.  It's situated in a district of Liège, the main city in the northeastern corner of Wallonia (the southern part of Belgium).  Sitting at a strategic point in the Meuse River, it occupies some of the most fought-over territory on the European continent.  Abandoned as obsolete in 1891, the forts which replaced it represented some of the world's strongest and inflicted great damage on the invading German Army in 1914.
