Description: Niteroi has been making several partnerships with the sport and is becoming the city that practices and encourages sports in the state of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. Mostly outdoor sports! Like Surfing, Beach Tennis, Beach Volleyball, Table Soccer, Hawaiian Canoe, among others. This modality is called Altinha, which means keeping the ball in the air for as long as possible and at the same time demonstrating the skill of each athlete with difficult moves and the most known, the Shark Attack! There were several teams of 4 athletes each, being 3 men and one woman. Each team had 5 minutes of playing time where 3 judges watch and give the notes. This sport is practiced on all beaches in Brazil, in some, there are specific areas for practice, in a way that does not bother or hurt people on the beach. There is indoor training on rainy and cold days. Big sponsors, such as Red Bull Brazil, are boosting the practice of sports in various modalities. I made this video for a friend and organizer of the event, in record time, 2 days, so that they could post as soon as possible and publicize the next stage that will be held in the Blue Cost (Lake District) of Rio de Janeiro. In the end, a wonderful sunset at Icarai Beach. Hope you enjoy and have some fun knowing those sport modalities!
