One of many beaches and bays now more accessible since the completion of the Indian Ocean Drive connecting Perth to Geraldton. Freshwater Point is located by Arrowsmith which is a is a town in the Mid West region of Western Australia. Its local government area is the Shire of Irwin and it is located 45 kilometres from the town of Dongara. Looks like a great camping spot. Likewise swimming and fishing. Information about this bay from beachsafe.org.au: Freshwater Point forms a prominent headland boundary between beaches WA 1054 and 1055. Freshwater Point beach (WA 1055) commences at the base of the 20 m high point and continues north for 1.4 km (Fig. 4.253) to two small adjoining bluffs. Seagrass grows to the shore and is usually piled up in the southern corner of the beach. A fishing and refueling depot and landing site is located in the southern corner between the backing bluffs and the shore. A radio tower and navigation light are located on the point." https://beachsafe.org.au/beach/wa/irwin/arrowsmith/freshwater-point
