Georgia - roadtrip

The Caucasus republic of Georgia is home to some spectacular road trip territory. In this drone video by content creator sojkincz, you'll aerially track a trip to the town of Ushguli in the Svaneti region that covers a northern portion of the country. Ushguli is actually a group of four villages, all of which are now a UNESCO World Heritage site. The reason? Near the crest of the Caucasus Mountains which separate Europe and Asia, the villages here are amongst the highest altitude continuously-inhabited settlements anywhere in Europe.
