Gori, Georgia

Gori is the fifth-largest city in the Caucasus republic of Georgia, after Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, and Rustavi.  Gori sits near the center of the country, in the Shida Kartli.  Lying at the confluence of two rivers as well as on the main highway across the country, it is a strategically important city in a strategically important country.  Contributor George Isakadze used a DJI Phantom 4 drone to create a spectacular aerial view of this Georgian city in the Caucasus, the birthplace of the Soviet Union's dictator Joseph Stalin.
