Guzelcehisar Lava Columns - 4K
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
One of the emerging tourist destinations in northern Turkey is a set of lava columns on Guzelcehisar beach near the city of Bartin, on the country's Black Sea coastline. Created over 80 million years ago, the area opened to the public in mid-2018 and now draws tourists from all over the globe. While similar rock columns exist in California and Scotland, Turkeys columns are unique in that they are both vertical and horizontal. These natural wonders can be seen from above in this drone video by content creator jesus_tr.

Güzelcehisar Lava Columns (80 million years old) 17 km away from the center of the city of Bartın, where the history and nature are intertwined, Güzelcehisar Village is one of the paradise gardens that must be seen by the people who have a beautiful sea, sand and insatiable sunset on the Black Sea coast. The lava columns, which are estimated to be 80 million years old, present a visual feast at the coast of Güzelcehisar village, where the history and nature are 17 kilometers away from the city. When walking on Güzelcehisar’s unique sands, the columned lava that starts at the western end of the long beach and rises like a wall from the sea reaches to Mugada by wrapping the seashore completely.
