HaMakhtesh HaKatan - The small crater
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Among the wonders of southern Israel are its makhtesh, a type of geological formation which is thought to be unique to the Negev Desert here. Makhtesh are essentially valleys surrounded by very steep rock walls, which are formed by a combination of the very unusual rock composition and erosion patterns of the area. There are three named instances of this phenomenon in the Negev. In this drone video by content creator and pilot AirWorks, you'll get a bird's eye view of HaMakhtesh HaKatan, the smallest of the three.
