Decided to head out again today. I wanted to work on stringing things together, I always watch my videos and think "Why didn't I do this there?".
I brought both the Helix and Alien out, I'd just repaired the Alien this morning and wanted to fly it a bit. Turns out the gyro died on my BFF3 board and so that one will be down for a few days while I wait for a DYS F4.
So I flew the Helix all day instead. Had some good flights, no crashes, I even strapped a camera on the bottom using the battery strap and managed to land it as well as you could expect with a GoPro Session on the bottom.
These are the flights I felt the best about even though they all ended in crashes. The last one ended with the 2 middle plates on the Helix snapping. The sound you hear are the 2 right hand props hitting each other. Even though I very temporarily broke the Helix I still felt really good during that flight. I made some mistakes but I had an awesome time doing it!
