Hidden in Shrouds - The Faroes

Hey, in late September I was fortunate enough to travel to the remote island group in the North of the Atlantic: the Faroes. I spent 1 week there and man was I blown away - quite literally on some days. Lush green hills, steep rocky cliffs, piercing winds and fierce waves are but a glimpse of what you can experience there. Not to mention that you can have wind, rain, snow, fog and sun all in one day. The people are very kind, welcoming and always open for a chat. Oh and sheep... lots and lots of sheep everywhere, roaming around freely including the roads. Yes, if you thought humans own the land of those islands you would be mistaken. Well I could go on and on describing these islands, ultimately though this island group is a hidden gem preserved by nature and hidden beneath the clouds, to be explored by those who dare.
