Highline in the Dolomites

Prepare to be blown away by this stunning first person view (FPV) drone video of a very brave highline walker in Italy's Dolomite Mountains. Top AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot b1z1o_fpv filmed slackliner Marco Milanese as he walked a line of over 300 ft. (about 100 m) strung between two ridges of the Bus de Tofana, which is part of the famous Cortina d'Ampezzo ski area in Belluno, one of the provinces of the region of Veneto. The FPV footage from his 5" quad was supplemented with stabilized shots from a DJI Air 2.

Epic undertaking at the beginning of January 2024. I followed Marco Milanese up to the crest above the Bus de Tofana (Tofana di Mezzo, Dolomiti D'Ampezzo, 3000 m), there he walked on a slackline unique in the world: almost one hundred meters of line suspended over the void among the snow-capped Dolomite peaks.
