Hiking Alone in the Usambara Mountains, Tanzania

Such an epic journey, I really hope more people get out for this adventure. The 82kmm hike from Lushoto to Mtae in Usambara Mountains of Tanzania. I began in Lushoto and hiked the following four-day itinerary: Lushoto to Lukozi: 26km Lukozi to Rangwi: 16km Rangwi to Mambo: 15km Mambo to Mtae via Kideghe Falls: 16km Along the way I stayed at homestays, a nun's convent, eco-lodges and guesthouses. Including food and accommodation the entire trip cost me $70 USD plus the $6 USD bus to and from Arusha (6-12 hour journey) Watch out for Chameleons on the trail! All the locals were super friendly and I found the entire trail safe. I had. GPX map to lead the way but most people take a local guide. Enjoy :)
