Hokkaido - White Paradise

Top AirVuz contributor Chris Jeon earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video from northern Japan.  The video was filmed during the wintertime in Hokkaido, the northernmost of Japan's four main islands.  Despite being an island, the island's northern latitude (around 43 degree north) gives it relatively cold winters: average January temperatures are well below freezing.  Snowfall can be prodigious - up to 400 inches (11 meters) in the mountains on its western side.
