Hotel Of Horror ( VEREGARIA )

The Veregaria Hotel or Berengaria hotel is located in Prodromos village in the district of Limassol. The hotel was considered as one of the best winter resorts of Cyprus during the 20th century. In addition, the Hotel is also known as “the hotel of kings" because it has attracted many famous people. Some of those, who stayed at Veregaria Hotel were the king of Egypt, Pharouk and Ezer Vaisman the president of Israel. It is also worth mentioning that Berengaria gained positive reviews which was shown in the visitors’ book, where the visitors praised the Cypriot hospitality and natural beauty of the Hotel's location. An attempt to bring the hotel back to life is currently in progress and this would indicate the preservation of our cultural heritage. Most likely, the reopening of Veregaria Hotel will increase the number of tourists as it will be one of the greatest Cypriot resorts and most certainly, it will be one of the main attractions of the island.
