I-35W Bridge, Minneapolis
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The greatest tragedy to strike modern Minneapolis, Minnesota occurred on August 1, 2007, when the I-35W Bridge over the Mississippi River collapsed during evening rush hour. The structural failure killed thirteen people and injured 145 (including dozens of children on a school bus), dominating international news headlines for days. In this video, gopher drone gives us an aerial view of the replacement bridge, which was (improbably) completed by the first anniversary of the collapse.

This is the I-35W Bridge over the Mississippi in Minneapolis. It replaces the bridge which collapsed back in '07. Not exactly an architectural marvel but not bad considering it was up and open within a year of the disaster.
