Iceland Thorsmork Canyon

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor mikereidphotography brings us this outstanding drone video of Iceland's Thórsmörk Canyon, one of the natural (and largely undiscovered) wonders of this North Atlantic island nation. Located on the southern edge of the Highlands, the beautiful but difficult-to-access mountainous region which covers much of the interior of Iceland, the canyon is accessible by road. However, it does involve a trip of over an hour on largely dirt road after leaving the paved comfort of Route 1 (aka the Ring Road).
