Same old tricks at the same old spot, but it's good for doing direct comparisons! Getting more testing of the Betaflight 4.0 dynamic filters at 32khz. This time with a different setup on a Revolt v1 and Cobra CP2207 2450kv. Testing this out on a pre-release version of the QAV-R2, but the electronics were pulled from my old faithful Chameleon that I ran for so long and it was perviously one of my favorite setups at 8khz. This is with stock LPF settings but with the top end range of the dterm dynamic filter upped to 250hz and the idle for both gyro and dterm dynamic set to 15. I'm pleased overall. There's still a tiny bit of vibrations at low throttle, but some tweaking of the static stage 1 LPF should solve that problem. I still have to say I can't really feel a difference between 8khz and 32khz. I need to do some back to back testing and possibly some blind tests to be completely sure, but the difference if there is a difference it's so close I'm not sure it matters. Regardless the one truth I come to out of this is that the new filters definitely make 32khz viable on a wider range of noise levels and with a lower risk factor than we've seen previously. I am waiting on a new 6" frame for my remaining 6" setup, and I can't wait to see how the new filters handle that lower frequency noise as well. Very curious to see how that goes!
