The first of my in-Depp-series of Ireland: The first day on the south coast near Waterford and the great tip of the Copper Coast Drive by my dear friend Marc.

We start off at Newton Cove and hike a short way with sheer cliffs to the Metal Man (protecting seafarers from the beautiful yet treacherous waters). They were built after an accident in 1816 drowning 360 people.

The Fenor Bog Walk is a curious short walk on planks around a bog of about 5 minutes. The parking lot gives access to the well known Angel of Fenor, a wooden statue.

Dunhill Castle of the 15th or 16th is well worth a visit and a couple of flights before some take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean at Bunmahon Bay.

Kilmacthomas Viaduct is a very photogenic former railway bridge now part of a cycling route.

Drones: Flight Nazgul Evoque 5 (GoPro 10), DJI Mini 3 Pro, Flywoo Explorer LR 4 O3, additional footage by DJI Osmo Pocket.
