Between nature and history: we are in FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA region, north of Italy.. It is here that the beauty of the Tagliamento river first meets Ragogna Castle then, tightening,it passes under the Pinzano bridge: it resisted the bombing of both world wars but it rebuilt after being destroyed by a flood in 1966. Finally from the top of Colle Pion the Germanic Ossuary, an unfinished mausoleum dating back to the First World War, greets the flow of the river from its enviable position.
