2014 was a great year for FPV, here is a quick recap of the fun and locations that this amazing hobby has taken me. I tried to use as many shots of unused footage as possible and I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed watching all the footage to make it. Most flights were made using the modified X525 frame which is still alive today but hasn't been flown for a very long time. Other flights were made with the RealFPV Spanky 5 frame that I used in my very first FPV race in September of that year at the great B.B.R.C course. Huge thank you to CamSump who was an excellent spotter and person to share these amazing locations and flights with. checkout his channel: Http://www.youtube.com/user/CamSump The shots around a foot bridge were in an area controlled by the pilot via the main spotter and support staff in radio communication either end of the bridge. One support member holds a health and safety training IOSH Certified, and is able to write and conduct official Risk assessments, the other is a First Aider. Bird; I was made aware via spotter that the bird had approached the quad to check me out so I yawed round and got a quick shot before I descended quickly to keep my distance. Sheep Herding; Full permission was given by the land and animal owner. The quads Flight Controller and RC Rx fail safes are set to 0% throttle and prop guards were fitted.
