Jasika bridge

The Jasički Bridge is one of the most important traffic facilities inKruševac, which bridges the Zapadna Morava river and connects the city with the settlement of Jasika and over 30 surrounding villages on the left bank of the river * Construction (1928): The bridge was originally built in 1928 as part of war reparations after the First World War. * NATO bombing (1999): During the NATO aggression, more precisely on April 15, 1999, a little after midnight, the bridge was hit by two missiles and severely damaged. As a result of the demolition, about thirty villages were cut off from Kruševac, and traffic was temporarily carried out over the pontoon bridge installed by the army. * Renovation (2000): The bridge was completely renovated and reopened to traffic on October 15, 2000 .
