Jedburgh Abbey - Scottish Borders UK

The Scottish Borders is a region of eastern Scotland, just north of the border with England.  One of the cultural highlights of this area is Jedburgh Abbey, a ruined 12th century Ausugtinian monastery.  Once one of the great monasteries of Great Britain, it fell victim to the waves of violence which spread over the region beginning with the First War of Scottish Independence in the late 13th century.  Contributor AvariceUK made a beautiful drone video of this important cultural landmark.
