The Jesenik Mountains (Hrubý Jeseník) are an important mountain range of the Czech Republic. A subrange of the Western Carpathians, the highest peak of the range (Mt. Praděd) is about 1.5k meters above sea level (around 4.9k ft.), making the Jeseniks the second-highest mountain range in the country. The range lies in the northeastern part of the country, in the regions of Northern Moravia and Silesia.
