Arguably one of the Malaysia’s most iconic landmarks, the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur is a grand showcase of cutting-edge innovation and architectural marvel.The design of each tower’s floor plate is based on Islamic geometric forms of two interlocking squares, leading to the shape of eight-pointed stars. Soaring to a height of 451.9m, the world’s tallest 88-storey twin structure impresses with its ultra modern exterior. The towers were designed by Argentine architect César Pelli. A distinctive postmodern style was chosen to create a 21st-century icon for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
