The Jvari Monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Georgia. The sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery sits on top of a mountain over Mtskheta, the capital of the former Kingdom of Iberia. According to old stories, in the 4th century Saint Nino placed a wooden cross on the mountain that was able to work miracles, drawing pilgrims from around the region. The present building was built between 590 and 605. See Jvari Monastery from a drone in this video by serzhanti.
