Ko Yo is a small island in Songkhla Lake on the east coast of southern Thailand. Fed both from the sea and rivers, the water is brackish. Fishing villages built on stilts are dotted around the island. With four-lane bridges north and south and an expressway running down the four kilometer eastern coast, the island is easy to miss. The southern end is dominated by Wat Laem Pho and its famous reclining Buddha, while high in the hills one can find the Khao Kuti Priest's Camp Site.
