Koh Yao Yai, Thailand
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor and pilot Kristin Addis brings us this awesome selfie pull-out shot from Ko Yao Yai, in Southern Thailand. Ko Yao Yai is the larger half of a two island archipelago called Ko Yao. These islands sit in the middle of Phang Nga Bay, a body of water off the Andaman Sea formed by the provinces of Phuket (to the west), Phang Nga (to the north), and Krabi (to the east). The two islands together cover a land area of around 150 square km (about 60 square mi.) and have a population of just under 20,000.

Don’t you just love watching the tides and waves play their game? This sand bar appears, and disappears, and reappears. It’s magic. More details here: https://youtu.be/wb8UK-fcaFA Blog post here: https://www.bemytravelmuse.com/koh-yao-noi/
