L'Etoile du Nord 🌟🌊 Minnesota’s Lake Superior @ Split Rock Lighthouse

One of the USA's most iconic lighthouses is not on its coasts but rather in the interior, on the shores of Lake Superior.  Seen in this excellent drone video by FlightCreativeMedia, Split Rock Lighhouse is located near Silver Bay, about an hour's drive north of Duluth, Minnesota.  Completed in 1910 and de-activated in 1969, the lighthouse stands 16 meters tall (54 ft) atop a 40 meter (130 ft. cliff).  Widely noted for its picturesque appearance, Split Rock Lighhouse was used as a filming location for the 2013 film "The Great Gatsby".
