White Night and wind of madness!
After a sleepless night, I went flying.
The weather for the next 10 days looks sad, or I was going to fly, or I was losing an opportunity to indulge my passion.
Although the Mistral has rarely blew as hard, and I have not slept all night, I made my bag, I loaded all the equipment in my little wagon and hop towards the field vineyard a few hundred to my home.
For a long time I wanted to try to make a power-loops between these trees.
I have chosen my day.
With a wind of madness, I would say gusts range between 70 km / h the quiet moments, and 90 km / h for large bursts.
Downwind, I dared once or twice to full throttle, the speed of the quad was really impressive.
With such speed, you really anticipate turns and changes of direction, the steering is completely different, even with a quad set for tight turns, downwind turning radius becomes enormous.
After a few minutes, I started to get used to fly in such conditions.
So I started to test the power-loops between the trees.
Only with such a strong wind and also changing it was not simple.
After some tests, it was bound to happen.
A big gust carried the quad at a time when I had zero gas and bim crash.
So I start looking for my quad.
I operates the beeper and despite the wind I distinguish the beeps-beeps between two bursts.
Arrived at the place where the beeps were stronger, I began to look, but I can not find it, the wind, the sound of beeping turns, and I can not know where it comes from.
Not finding him, I decided to drive the motors.
And there, I knew immediately that was the quad, it was hung in a tree just above me.
Past the scare of my take on the head, I was glad to know where he was.
Well, it remains only to get it back, but it is still a bit high so I could catch it.
No choice, activate the engines and I put a few strokes of gas, and luckily he got off the tree alone.
After straightening the propellers, I took my flights with a big smile.
FPV, even with rotten weather, and quad thieves trees, it is the foot :)
