Lake Bled - Slovenia

Check out these beautiful aerial shots of the most iconic site in Slovenia, the northernmost of the former Yugoslavia Confederation members.  It's actually two distinct sites on Lake Bled, a beautiful alpine lake in the Julian Alps mountains which cover the northwestern part of the country.  The first, Bled Castle, is a medieval structure which its atop a cliff overlooking the lake.  The second spot is on the lake itself - it's the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Maria, which more or less covers Bled's sole island.
