It’s been raining hard and Lake Clementine has spectacularly gone over the top. Lake Clementine is a reservoir on the North Fork of the American River above the town of Auburn in Placer County California. The dam is designed so that the river flows over its top. A large waterfall is created when rain and snowmelt cause high river flows. Unfortunately, I could not fly very close to the dam as the mist from the falling water was blowing around. You can see from the video that the mist was falling on the trees below. I recorded the audio with a ground station and synced it to the drone video so you can listen to the waterfall and not the sound of the props.
