Lake Efra - Spring Edition (Ticino, Switzerland)

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top AirVuz contributor Kpax earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video of a tiny alpine lake in Switzerland. Lake Efra lies in the Locarno District of Ticino, Switzerland's primarily Italian-speaking canton. It's at the northern base of the roughly triangle-shaped extension of Swiss territory pointed southwards into Italy. The video was filmed during the glorious Spring season with a DJI Mini 3 drone, whose light weight makes it an ideal aerial videography platform for mountain treks.

Up and down, steep and technical with some stone steps leading to the eponymous lake. Lying just below the Capanna Efra, this little gem can be partly frozen over until late spring. Wonderful views of the valley floor and surrounding peaks may be enjoyed from the Capanna Efra, which stands on a large, sunny terrace and offers hikers accommodation and refreshment.
