Lake Ledro - Dolomites December 2022

Lake Ledro is located in a suspended valley that connects the Chiese valley with Lake Garda. At a height of 655 m, its surface area is 2,187 km² and it has a circumference of approximately 10 km. Bathing is possible in the lake. In the 1980s, in the autumn of 2009 and in November 2011, part of the lake turned red due to the blooming of the Oscillatoria rubescens algae, an indicator of increased lake trophy. https://youtu.be/c1H3C36j5N4
