Lake Tahoe sits in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, near the border with the neighboring state of Nevada.  It's one of the most famous lakes in the United States, and the surrounding mountains contain some of the world's best ski slopes and were the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics.  Contributor paulmp4p put his DJI Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 Pro drones to great use and captured this stunning area of natural scenery in the middle of the winter season.
