Lake over Pura Ulun Danu Tamblingan, Bali

The form of Hinduism practiced in Bali is somewhat distinct from how it is practiced in other parts of the world, and Balinese Hindu temples are called pura's. The temple is located on the shores of Lake Tambinglan, in the Buleleng district in the northwestern corner of the island. The lake is surrounded by volcanoes and is an important destination for spiritually oriented travelers.
